Hey folks! This is Patrick from Chip Happens Auto Glass.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"What's a crazy story of auto glass repair?"

Answer:

Uh well, there's many crazy installation and situations that we've been in from vehicles with gunshot holes or um you know, angry spouses one way or another. Um, and so if I had to pick one, I'd probably say the uh 201 14 Ferrari. Um, I believe it was an FFR. The windshield was smashed, the door glasses were smashed, they threw paint on the inside of the vehicle, they debadged it, and uh, we're not quite sure of the story. It never came out as to what happened, but uh there was a substantial uh hundred and so thousand dollar worth of damage done to this poor vehicle that did not deserve it. Um maybe the owner, sure, but the vehicle, no. And so we should not take our aggressions out on the vehicles. Um they did not do it. Uh, all.

Summary:

Patrick Sherman shared an anecdote about a 2014 Ferrari FFR that sustained extensive damage, including smashed windshield and door glass, paint thrown inside, and debadging, resulting in over a hundred thousand dollars in damages. They mentioned that they have encountered various unusual situations, including vehicles with gunshot holes and damage from disputes.
