Mobile service is our bread and butter, but some jobs are simply better in the shop. Static ADAS calibrations need a level floor, controlled lighting and targets at exact distances. Panoramic sunroofs and big RV glass are easier to handle on a flat, dry floor. Heavy rain days are better under a roof. And some customers just prefer to drop the keys and pick the vehicle up done.
The Chip Happens shop is at 17150 Tye St SE, Unit C in Monroe, just off US-2, open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with weekend appointments by arrangement. Rock chip walk-ins are welcome on weekdays.

Urethane cures by reacting with moisture in the air at a rate that depends on temperature and humidity, and it bonds best to a clean, dry, primed surface. In the shop we control all three, which is why in-shop installations on cold, wet days have a shorter and more predictable safe drive-away time than the same job in a driveway in January.
The shop is also where the calibration targets, the scan tools and the lift live, so camera-equipped vehicles get the glass and the calibration in one visit without a second appointment.

Call or send the form with your vehicle information so the glass is here when you are. Most windshield replacements are done in about an hour plus cure time, and calibration adds roughly another hour. Door glass and chip repairs are quicker.
